Wading River Historical Society Annual Arts and Craft Fair Application
The Annual Duck Pond Day will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 in downtown Wading River. In conjunction with this event, our spring Arts Fair will
take place on the grounds of the Wading River Historical Societyʼs History House on North Country Road. The fair will be held rain or shine from 11 AM to 5:00 PM.

If you are an artist and would like to sell your work, please complete and return the application below if you would like to participate. Only qualified handcrafted items and artwork will be accepted. We do not accept resale merchandise or manufactured goods of any kind. Please specify canopy or table space to assist in on-site layout. The spaces are approximately 10ʼx10ʼ.

A non-refundable fee of $75 per space is payable in advance. Please make checks payable to Wading River Historical Society. Your donation is tax deductible. All spots will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Due to limited space we can only accept 5 vendors. Your check will not be cashed if you are not given a space. You will receive an email if your application is accepted. We will only accept a limited number of artists to display and sell their work.Setup begins at 9 AM.

Please read over the following rules and requirements for all vendors.
 
THIS IS AN OUTDOOR STREET EVENT. Each artist will be given a space 10’x10’ on the History House lawn. You may bring a tent that covers that space, but not anything bigger than 10’x10’. You must bring your own table and chairs as none will be provided. This is a RAN or SHINE event with no refunds, as is stated herein.

  1. You will receive an email of acceptance between a week and a few days before the event.
  2. The setup for the event will be from 9 AM to 10:45 AM.
  3. The roads will be closed to the public starting at 10 AM, so please let the police or event staff at the barricades know you are a vendor.
  4. Unloading during setup can be done from your vehicle, but it must be moved before completing your setup. Drop off items, park vehicle, return to set up space.
  5. All parking during the event is street parking only, along N. Country Road, N. Wading River Road, and Randall Road. NO parking near vendor spots.
  6. The event will be open to the public from 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. 
  7. There will be announcements made from the Chamber of Commerce Table at the corner of the public parking lot on Sound Road and North Country Road. If you would like to have an announcement made, bring it in writing to the Chamber table.
  8. All booths must be staffed during show hours.
  9. All business must be conducted within your booth. 
  10. Only the registered artist may occupy the booth space.
  11. Please be respectful of other exhibitors in your vicinity. Displays must be completely contained within your booth space and may not interfere with other booths.
  12. Please wait until the end of the event to tear down your booth. 
  13. After the event, all trash, wrapping, boxes, packing materials, etc., must be removed from the grounds and taken with you for disposal. No exceptions.
